At the beginning of 2013, I set out to make a series of quilts that are friendly to beginner quilters by requiring only basic piecing and cutting skills as well as having simple fabric requirements. One of those designs is "Jewel Box", back in my pattern shop, Color Girl Quilts, after a makeover that includes size options and improved graphic design. I enjoyed each comment on my post last week about my sponsor, Canton Village Quilt Works, and I am so happy to announce that Cindy is the winner. It sounds like others appreciate the same things that I do about Jackie's blog and shop: she carries fabrics that few do (Kaffe, Aboriginals, and HUGE selection of kona solids).
