So excited to add a new designer and company to the shop! Figo Fabrics are here and they are SO FABULOUS! No surprise, the Mountain Meadow collection by Pippa Shaw looks fabulous with other prints in the shop. I’ve made a new Sew Colorful bundle that includes the new Figo Mountain Meadow prints as well as coordinating prints for a gorgeous mix of jewel tones and this week you can win it.
The Jewel Fat Quarter bundle and lots of other Bundles are for sale in the shop (and yardage of the prints, too).
YOU could win, here’s what you have to do:
- Share this post (copy and paste the URL) to share with your Facebook friends and/or post the bundle image above on your instagram feed. For both platforms, add #ColorGirlsummerweekend to the caption so I can find you.
- Leave a comment on this post and tell me what project you plan to work on as we head into fall.
If your name is drawn, you’ll get the Sew Colorful Jewel fat quarter bundle AND a Color Girl pattern of your choice!
Happy Weekend!

II have several UFO’s that I plan to finish as Fall sets in here…and will be working on a few baby quilts & Christmas gifts too 🙂 Thank you for chance to win your Give-way too 😀
Love the bright colors! My next project is a quilt for my daughter.
Love the teal! I’m planning on sewing packing cubes for our trip to Italy. It’ll be easy to tell our clothes apart with bags made from these colorful prints!
Wonderful selection of fabric!
My next project is a medallion quilt for a friend’s grandson.
I shared this to Facebook. Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful fabric! This fall I will be working on a lot of cosmetic pouches for Christmas gifts.
I am a colorful Quilter, it will not be fall in may part of the woods until November at least, so I will continue to sew with beautiful Colors. My next project is to make something with Dew and Moss for Alexandra’s Sewing Party, Yay! This bundle is beautiful! Thanks for a chance to win this bundle of fabrics.
I’m making baby quilts to donate to a local charity this fall. Ohhhh, I can’t wait for some cooler weather. I’m also hand quilting a queen size quilt for our bed. It’s RED (mostly). I have never made a red quilt before. It is pretty. That hand quilting project will last me all winter long. YAY!
I’m currently in the final stage of finishing a Halloween table runner out of chopped up Halloween prints from when i first started quilting! Boy were they a mess but i made something cute!
I’m not sure what’s next but i have tons of UFOs I can work on ????
I am working on my UFOs to clear up some space for new projects, as well as cleaning out the sewing room.
I hope to finally make the Polka Dot Bikini Quilt…have had the pattern and fabric in a container for years! (Since you designed it to be honest!) I guess I’m lucky I waited so I can benefit from your latest update! Thanks for the giveaway!
Heading into fall, I am working on an oversized wallet and a wristlet – both to take on vacation in April next year. Thanks!
I’ll be working on a Halloween Quilt for my daughter. She loves decorating for Halloween. I’m also in the market for purple / turquoise 10″ stacks or FQ Bundle to make curtains.
I shared it in the Giveaway Party linky party! I’m working on a fun improv star quilt right now.
I bought some fabric to try a one block wonder.
The first time I’ve ever done this – entering via facebook. The fabric is lovely, I do like those colors. Now what to make, well it will have to have curves for sure, maybe a drunkard’s path, or a variation of it.
Right now I’m working on a top with fabric from Dear Stella, the pattern is Mr. Kite by Abbey Lane quilts.
I have the fabric pulled, Anna Maria Horner, for a pattern from QuiltFolk up next. Hopefully by next weekend.
Thank you Sharon!!!
These are beautiful!!! They would be awesome in my next Raggedy Ann doll!!!
Gorgeous fabric! I’m working on an improv quilt celebrating the seasons that will be in a auction for a local forest garden.
Love this colorful bundle, would make a baby girl quilt with it and now I am trying to finish a black & white baby quilt and this fall I will begin my village quilt Carole
I am starting 3, I think, SAL’s. It’s difficult since I mostly have lots of small scraps. Being on a fixed income makes it difficult to do many offered. Love these bright colors…could REALLY use them!
I have many UFOs I could work on, or I might decide to start something new. I am also in the middle of quilting 2 quilts so I really should finish those! And then I have a baby quilt to make.
I would love to make a log cabin quilt with these fabrics! So bright and fun and cheery!!
I am working on finishing up a quilt for my granddaughter and then moving on to pouches and purses for Christmas gifts. Thanks for the great giveaway Sharon, and have a great weekend!
