It is so exciting to show you this amazing quilt! My friend Carol made this version of the Eclipse quilt with the green kit option that’s available in my shop. I am so impressed with her skills, and super thrilled with how the selection of prints and colors look together.
The Eclipse quilt is confident level quilt pattern that uses the Classic Curves Ruler. When I made the sample for the pattern, I chose a bright yellow print for the main background fabric…I love how unexpected it is for a main color and how the bright prints really shine. <Get a kit for the original yellow version Here.>
In planning the kits for my shop, I wanted to offer an option for something different, a bit less bright, and fell in love with this minty green print by (one of my favorite designers) Katarina Roccella. It looks amazing with the prints in the kit and using the pink for the stars is the perfect compliment. <Get the Green Eclipse kit Here.>
The kits include all the fabric to make the 47″ x 61″ throw quilt top and binding, with 12 different prints for the curved shapes. The Classic Curves Ruler is sold separately. Everything you need will arrive in just a couple of days to make this beauty…no hard choices, just the pleasure of sewing the perfect mix of color, value and prints for a scrappy yet coordinated look. There are only a few of the kits available, so don’t wait!
Be sure and share your lovely makes! It really brightens my day to see the creative ways you use Color Girl patterns and fabric bundles.
