Giveaway, Work in progress

Winner and W.I.P of the Week

Thank you to all who entered the giveaway from last week! It was fun reading the comments and finding out that the group includes quilters from all over the world. I think the furthest away was Australia (isn’t the internet wonderful to bring us together?). We also have friends in Canada, France, the U.K. and all over the U.S. Thanks for introducing yourselves! I hope you comment again in the future.Tallinn fabrics pieced circle quilt blocks. tutorial by Color Girl Quilts

Giveaway winner is Kelly Paulson. I’ve sent Kelly an email and waiting to send the prize! Thanks to all who enter. There will be more giveaways coming so keep in touch.

A couple of weeks ago, I posted a tutorial on sewing a complete circle into a block. I love this technique as another use for the Classic Curves Ruler and a unique way to show off large scale prints. I’ve been working on something really cute with my circle blocks.

I am sewing a little quilt with new Tallinn fabrics for designer Jessica Swift’s blog tour to introduce the fabrics. This is her first collection with Art Gallery Fabrics, and she’s put together a lineup of sewists to make with the new fabric. It will be my turn next week, so I have been working to get this finished up.

See what everyone else is making on Jessica’s website, Here. Lots of inspiration.

Happy Sewing!
