I am really happy to have the opportunity to do some sewing for Quilt Market this spring. My first project is a quilt for Hoffman fabrics using their upcoming collection, Sweet Tea. The fabrics are so feminine and soft, and I think my Archer Pattern is perfect for showing off the coordinating colors and variety of prints.
For this version of Archer, I exchange the white and gray strips for navy and seagreen tonal prints from the Sweet Tea collection. The fabrics come in the china blue color way as well as pink and green, but I mixed them all together. I love how the navy really spices up the sweeter shades of pink and green. It is an interesting mix of modern geometric patchwork with classic prints, and it totally works!
I have shipped this beauty off to California and I am looking forward to seeing it again in Salt Lake City in May. I love how a pattern takes on different looks with new fabrics and colors…so many possibilities!
To make one like mine shown here, make the throw size on the Archer pattern. Archer is available as pdf download here on my site, as well as in print wholesale for shops.
