A while back I wrote about getting the new book by Sara Lawson (SewSweetness), Windy City Bags. The bag that jumped out me most was a little backpack, and although I am not super confident at my 3-D sewing skills, I jumped in!

It's Friday! I am so happy to finally have my Aviatrix Medallion quilt finished. If you have been reading here for a while, you know I spent a ton of time last year working my through all the borders on this. I had lots of fun along the way, adapting the pattern and adding some of my own personal touches. The original pattern is by Elizabeth Hartman.
