Twice a year, Amy’s Creative Side sponsors a fun, virtual quilt “show” for bloggers. I haven’t entered the show in a while, so I thought this year I would add my latest Polka Dot Bikini quilt.
This is a smaller version than the original pattern, and I made it just this last summer as part of the Kona Solids tour with Stash Fabrics. Even though it is my third version of the Bikini quilt, I have to say I had a blast making it and really love how it turned out! This quilt is also pretty special to me because I finished it while on vacation in Colorado in August…one of the best vacations of my life.
Be sure and check out the rest of the show! Lots of quilty inspiration and such a neat variety of quilts and makers. I am entering mine in the “original design” category.
There is an opportunity to nominate and vote for your favorite quilts in the show, too.
If you want to vote for your favorites, Click Here
After October 29, go back and vote for your favorites in each category, too.
Have a Scary Halloween!

I really like your fabric choices! Your design is so unique and pretty!
How cool you made a mini…love it! Um, my original bikini is still not quilted and I don’t want to send it out and I don’t want to quilt it myself and mess it up! Someday!!!
