Have you ever wished you could see what your fabrics look like in your quilt pattern before you cut them all up and start sewing? Pattern Jam is a new website that offers you the opportunity to audition fabrics in different quilt patterns before you buy the pattern or fabric. You can also upload fabrics from your own stash and plan your quilt in the chosen pattern before you sew.
Click Here to visit the site and sign up to try it out.
It is even more fun than it sounds. I can see how this could be really addictive…like having an endless stash of the most beautiful and current fabrics to make any quilt you want! sounds like a dream, right?
I am really happy to have my quilt patterns available on Pattern Jam. You can experiment with fabrics and colors before you buy the pattern and download it directly. It is a neat opportunity to try a pattern you might not otherwise consider…maybe you don’t like the colors or fabrics in the quilt shown on the cover of the pattern…Pattern Jam lets you see the pattern in your own taste.
The quilt at the top of this post is one I created on Pattern Jam, using my Zen Garden pattern made with a combination of “Gooseberry” and “Canyon” (both collections from Moda). The quilt above is my Reflections pattern made with the new Amy Butler fabrics “Bright Heart” and the upcoming Tula Pink collection “Eden”. I love these two combined! and how different does it look from my original, made with Sweetwater (Moda) prints?
Have fun! Be sure and show me what creative variations you make with my quilt patterns.
