I did it! I finally finished my second Polka Dot Bikini Quilt.
I started this quilt back in January to work along with the Bikini Quilt-along I hosted here on the blog. It has been one I worked on off-and-on since then, often getting set aside for other projects. This month I have been making a big effort to finish up some works-in-progress and this quilt was top of my list. It’s funny, as I was making this it seemed like such a big project: lots of piecing (curves take extra time) and lots of quilting (for me, anyway). Then when I went to put the binding on earlier this week, I realized how small it is! it’s only about 40″ square, but feels like an accomplishment and I am really loving it.
You can find more posts about this quilt as well as other versions on This Page. My friend Linh just finished her Bikini Quilt, too, and it is Gorgeous! You can see it on her blog Here.
The pattern for the Polka Dot Bikini Quilt is available here on my site shop or on Craftsy. I would love to see what you are working on: post on instagram with #bikiniquilt or let me know where else to find your posts.
So happy to finally have a finish to share!

Linking up with Amanda Jean for Finish it Friday
Congratulations on the finish! It looks great, and I love the pop of bright color for the center ring.
Lovely! Purchased the pattern a while ago, still on my list of “quilts to do”, haven’t gotten fabric yet. Mi really want to use some of my stash, your mom’s black & white has inspired me to consider something like that with some of my bright colors.
This is a great quilt. Really well done. Making something so complex is an accomplishment!
That looks really really cool! Great work with the curves!
It turned out really well. I love these colours and its a very cool design!
Love this so much!! The colors are perfect!
