The Twirling Fans pattern has arrived in my website shop
I have created a page on this blog to accompany this pattern, including links to tutorials on the piecing and appliqué of the fans as well as options for piecing the half-square triangle border and the optional scrappy border.
The pattern includes instructions and fabric requirements to make the twin size like mine as well as a four-block crib quilt. Full size templates are included, too. It is a great way to use scraps and stash or show off a favorite fabric collection, too.
My friend Cathy, who often helps me with checking patterns, made a very different version of the fan block. She has a post Here, so visit for more inspiration!
