Have we really been working on this quilt for four months?! I have seen lots of really pretty examples and want to thank those that sewed along with Jess and me.
Today is the day to share your quilt! I am still quilting mine, but have some fun pictures. Remember when I posted that this is the quilt where I overcome my fear of FMQ? Well, it has worked: just plunged in, and I am thoroughly enjoying it!
did a bit of swirls over the flowers…far from perfect, but I like it.
a little leaf and and twirl over the churn dashes. (those leaves are pretty fun to quilt, will definitely try that idea again)
….and the whole darn thing. Still have some churn dash border to quilt and the checker and outer-most border.
My mom made a fantastic, bright version you can see HERE
Now it’s your turn. Please link up your Midnight at the Oasis quilt progress (no matter where you are in the process, all are welcome!)
We will be holding a drawing next Tuesday, February 4, from the pool. We have prizes generously donated by:

I wish I had the guts to try machinequilting. Tried several times, but gave up every try :(… I linked up, but the only thing I can show is the finished top. Haven’t started (hand)quilting it yet, but I’ll start soon!
Thanks for hosting; I had great fun sewing and learned lots along the way….
Oh this is just gorgeous! The quilting looks beautiful on it!
