Announcing the start of the great Polka Dot Bikini Quilt
click the button above for the QAL page…make sure you grab the button to display on your site.Is everyone ready for a fun party? I have worked out a schedule of making about six blocks every two weeks over the next few months. You are welcome to keep up and finish your quilt with me, or do as much as you want in between other projects. I do hope you join!
I want to give a big thanks to sponsors:
Pink Chalk Fabrics
Canton Village Quilt Works
Pink Castle Fabrics
they are each providing a gift certificate to give away during the QAL. If you need to purchase fabric for your Bikini Quilt, these shops are great resources, no matter what your taste.
- Canton Village carries a kit of fabrics similar to the ones I used in the original (kaffe fasset prints, plus the solids).
- Pink Castle always has great flash sales, so be sure and follow their newsletter for coupon codes!
- Pink Chalk has a great feature “what goes with what”, where they choose bundles of solids that coordinate with the most current fabric collections (how perfect is that for the Bikini Quilt?).
To get things off to a fun start, this week I am giving away a $25 gift certificate to Pink Chalk Fabrics
Leave a comment on this post to be entered in the giveaway. I will announce the winner on Sunday, January 26 (open to everyone)
Do you still need to purchase the pattern? you can find it in my Craftsy shop
I am so excited to see your ideas for this quilt!
**VERY IMPORTANT: when printing the templates, make sure your printer is set at 100%. Do not “scale” the pages to fit or the templates will be too small. To check: the straight sides of template A should measure 9 1/2″**
