“Treasure” finds new home

This is the original quilt I made for my “treasure map” pattern at the first of this year. It is made with fabrics from “Mod Century” fabric designed by Jenn Ski for Moda.

I am very proud and flattered that Jenn Ski herself has purchased this quilt for her collection! wow.

Cleo and I took it to the park today for a photo shoot before we mail it off tomorrow.

One of my favorite parts of this quilt is the quilting…sashiko style in black thread in criss-cross pattern around the “x” shapes.

Cleo, my pup

It feels a bit strange to let it go. But I am pleased with my first quilt sale. Visit my pattern shop for other patterns designed by me.

Sweet Good-Bye!

That is a nice compliment, Sharon, that the fabric designer bought your quilt as a keepsake! Hopefully it will lessen the pain of letting it go. šŸ˜‰ Great job!
