So Much Crafty Goodness!

This post is dedicated to paying complement to those who inspire and awe me…

First, to mention some fabric I have a crush on right now, Kaffe Fassett’s “spot”

The colors on these are so bold and I love that the dots and backgrounds come in such unusual color combinations. They are a really great blender for your stash.

I think a lot of you follow Leanne at Nifty Quilts? Well, I hope you didn’t miss this post where she featured her many Red quilts. You should probably be sitting down while you view them.

If you are like me and have serious challenges (for me this means I totally stink at it) when it comes to machine quilting, then you will appreciate my other favorite this week: Jenny at Sew Kind of Wonderful recently finished quilting her Double Wedding Ring quilt. It is amazing. It’s hard to decide which I like best, the DWR or the Metro Hoops one she features on her current post.

Finally, someone who inspires me every day,

My little professor (with Cleo), his first time in a tie! do you love how he clipped it on on the outside of his shirt collar? he kept saying he felt like the President. ha ha ha!

Your turn. What are you loving in the craft world right now? tell me in your comment. If you have a blog, write about  your inspiration and then leave your link in the comments so others can visit you.

I’m on a Kaffe kick too!! Your little guy is very sweet!

Your little future president is fantastic, plus, he already comes with an official presidential dog!

  3. I’m loving my stash a whole lot. I don’t often get to make purchases, so I shop at home. πŸ™‚ The great part is that I haven’t made a dent yet. Your candidate has my vote!

Awww He’s so cute. πŸ™‚ I was thinking of you this past week while I was helping my 15yo do the quilting on her service project. It would have looked AWESOME with sashiko stitches around each of the squares. (Am I remembering correctly? You’re the one with a sashiko machine, right?)

I love comments! thanks for stopping by.
