Recipe for a Great Weekend

Last weekend was about as good as it gets in this life.
Here is the formula for a great weekend:

1 handful of great neighbors
1 neighbor with a swing set
1 pile of fresh mulch (even better with a sword and snow boots, but these are optional)

Plenty of good company while quilting (that’s Cleo, she just blends in with the dark furniture)

heaping amounts of sunshine and warmth
pinch of takeout pizza (to prevent cooking obligations)

Mix all of these together and you get:

2 very happy, tired boys who smell like horses
the start of a beautiful gardening season
lots of laughs
1 very happy gal with a finished quilt…just needs binding!

 hope your week is happy.
