A Quiet (scrap) Riot

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I was starting a quilt with my Lucy’s Crab Shack layer cake. I took out all the “low volume” prints and added some complimentary solids and this little number was born. (I added other light prints to fill out the pre-cut squares)

I like to think it is just dipping my toes in the low volume craze but staying true to my first love of color! I am getting ready to baste this one and get it quilted.

This will be a pattern coming to my shop…I was just too excited about it to wait until it’s all finished to show you! My goal for April is to finish this one…quilted, bound and pattern.

I took my first trips to the nursery last weekend and felt positively giddy. The pull of the garden is strong…hope to bring you some “flowers” to go with the “fabrics” soon. smile.
