Navy, Gray, Green: palette play

I am totally crushing on this collection of fabrics right now, and plotting a future project:

this is (part of) a fat eighth bundle of “Pure” by Stof fabrics. The prints also come in a red color way, which I have separated out because I am going in a different direction. Aren’t these just fabulous?!

The bundle came with a variety of prints in green, gray and navy, and just the one purple print (lower left in photo above). I added a few prints from my stash, continuing the color theme, including a bit more purple:

Since I removed the red, I am adding some teal and golden yellow:

I am on the lookout for more teal prints. I am really liking this combo!
The problem (if you could possibly find one with these fabrics) is the lack of value. Basically the only values are “white” and “color”, i.e., no light, medium, dark.
Therefore, I think these would be good for a large scale piecing project like, oh, jumbo hexagons!

Now, for a (quilters’) public service announcement: I bought the Pure bundle from Tactile Fabrics, an  online quilt shop with outstanding fabrics!! I recommend checking them out: service and pricing are great, my order even came with a bonus fat eighth of a print I love, and handwritten note from the owner:

Have a great weekend!
Is anyone ready for the next step in the fan quilt-along? It is coming…

Note: the opinion and recommendation of fabrics and Tactile Fabrics are my own and in no way solicited or compensated.
