Winner! plus weekend W.I.P

I couldn’t resist showing this picture as a follow up to my last post “boy talk”. Here are my boys watching a DVD on the computer. As you can see, Coulson is prepared for anything. You never know when you might need a broom and/or a sword, and a pirate hat is classy paired with monkey p.j. bottoms.

The Winner of the Boy Talk Giveaway “are you smarter than my first-grader” is…..
MIMI! She knew that a hellbender is a type of salamander. Her mailman will be bringing her a present in the form of my second featured pattern, “frogs and snails”

On to my weekend, W.I.P.
This is somewhat of a rerun, but I am really excited about my bikini bottoms piecing and I made a lot of progress over the weekend.

what do you think?
I have an idea as to how I am going to do the corners. Most of you voted for the squares/four-patch treatment, which will be part of it. I want to get some pieced before I show. Hopefully I will get to work a little more today and tomorrow.

ps. I’ll give you a hint. I don’t have very many viewers, so when I do a giveaway, you have a really good chance of winning. check back on August 25 when I am doing a giveaway as part of a blog-hop.
But we’ll “chat” before then anyway!
