Have you ever found a fabric or collection that you just LOVE! ?
Well, last winter when Sweetwater/Moda released the Reunion collection, it was love at first sight for me, and the feeling has not worn off. Only one of my local quilt shops had a teeny bit of it, so I settled for some charm packs from Green Fairy (they even sold out of it lickety split!)
Anyway, this weekend I finished sewing some blocks with my charm squares:
this is really basic piecing for me and it was fun! I wanted something that would stay simple so I can just make eyes at those prints. Next up: putting them all together.
By the way, if anyone from Sweetwater happens to see this, I am your biggest fan.
My other weekend work in progress was planting two azalea bushes in my yard. I put one in last night (in the dark after boys were in bed) and I did the other tonight (before bedtime). I do not recommend planting shrubs by feel, but I must say the one I did in the dark looked pretty good when I checked it this morning. I will show you those azalea bushes in a couple of months…they are a variety I love that turn bright orange in the fall.
Have a great week! I would love to see what you are working on.

my email is on my sidebar, I don’t know how to change my status as a “no reply” blogger. Pardon the rookie technical difficulties.
Can’t wait to see what you make with all those blocks. I also love Reunion and have a charm pack but I haven’t done anything with it yet…it’s on the list though.
love that line. This is a great way to work with the charms. 🙂
Love your blocks. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them.
