It's Friday! I am so happy to finally have my Aviatrix Medallion quilt finished. If you have been reading here for a while, you know I spent a ton of time last year working my through all the borders on this. I had lots of fun along the way, adapting the pattern and adding some of my own personal touches. The original pattern is by Elizabeth Hartman.

One of my favorite parts of this quilt is the quilting...sashiko style in black thread in criss-cross pattern around the "x" shapes.
