I am happy to say the Quilt Now issue 10 has landed in the U.S., and even better: I got my copy! I will be back with more on the issue, but I wanted to write a post as soon as I could when I noticed some typos and a missed illustration on the instructions for my Pops Quilt. “Pop”ping in with a New Quilt!

I am so happy to finally share this finished quilt, called "Pops", named by my lovely mother. This was the main project I worked on last summer at Camp Stitchalot, the fabulous Michigan retreat hosted by Brenda of Pink Castle Fabrics. I got this wild idea to piece hexagons to show off my favorite fabric stash prints, and to add tiny triangles, so that when the hexagons meet you get the effect of small "popping" hexagons in bright colors.
