It's finally here! Pattern number three to accompany the Classic Curves Ruler is Mermaid. I am really excited about this design...so graphic and colorful, and so much potential.
I made the sample on the pattern cover with solids from RJR fabrics Cotton Supreme Solids collection. It is my first ever quilt made only with solids! Hard to believe, but I really enjoyed it. I would love to see it in prints and I think it would be really fun with light scraps in place of the navy blue and white "background".

My main focus recently has been getting ready for quilt market in May. It is a sewing industry trade show for fabric people, designers, and publishers plus other sewing folks to show off their new products to wholesale buyers. I am going for the first time as an exhibitor! I have a little booth to plan and prepare, which is more than a little daunting.
