Sometimes it seems like I have a million projects going and nothing is getting done. That’s why it feels especially great when I get to a point where stars align and things come together. This week is one of those times: some finished quilts and new patterns getting done, ready for Quilt Market and to share with you!
One of my goals this spring is to have the print pattern of Daisy available so that shops can carry it (it is also available as a pdf file, Here). I made a new, brighter version of the pattern for the cover. This quilt is so me, I think…with colorful fabrics by Alison Glass, Tula Pink, and stash favorites like polka dots and other scrappy bits. This is the baby size included in the pattern. My original quilt is the throw size and the pattern also includes a queen size.
My baby Daisy was quilted by Darby at Quilted Squid (how cool is that wavy line texture?!). As always, I sew with Aurifil thread and finish with Hobbs batting. I am super excited to have this quilt ready to hang in my booth at Market…hopefully the pattern will be coming to your local shop!
Have a great week!
