It seems like every new quilt is my “favorite” so it’s hard to say this is my absolute favorite quilt, but it’s close! I am happy to now offer the quilt pattern for Trillium so that you can make one, too. Click Here for the pdf pattern in my shop, or on Craftsy.
I originally designed and made the Trillium quilt as part of Katarina Roccella’s blog tour for her fabric collection for Art Gallery Fabrics, Avante Garde. (see that post, here). I can say with certainty that Avante Garde is one of my very favorite fabric collections of all time! I love the bold colors and graphic prints and think they are perfect for the the Trillium design. My sample quilt is the throw size on the pattern. There are also baby and full size options included.
This is the first hexagon pattern in my collection…the first of many, I hope, since I really love this shape! Trillium is a unique variation on hexagon quilts, making it fun to make (and not as difficult as it looks). If you have been wanting to learn how to piece hexagons, be sure and try Trillium.
