I recently released a brand new quilt pattern called Lucky. This sweet design is so much fun and simple to sew...it is perfect for any occasion.
Today I want to share a baby size Lucky quilt I made using my friend Sharon Holland's, fabrics called "Sketchbook" (Art Gallery Fabrics 2015). This size is included with the pattern as well as the larger one I showed you before plus an even larger size.
For my Lucky baby quilt, I decided to make the nine patch blocks in scrappy prints rather than all pink. I like that it gives the overall design a slightly...
I finished another quilt top! I am so enjoying the summer vacation and getting so much time to sew. I told you a little about the start of this quilt last week, and now it is all finished and ready for quilting. I do plan to write a pattern for this (just add it to my growing to-do list!). Find my latest quilting patterns, here.

I would not consider myself a successful bag (or any 3-dimensional) sewist. BUT...I feel quite inclined to make more bags since I sewed this Emblem Duffel bag. The pattern is by Sara of SewSweetness and I was lucky enough to be a tester when the pattern was in progress. You can get the Emblem Duffel pattern Here. Whether or not you are a bag maker, if you are even a bit curious or have a great fabric and want to try a bag, the Emblem Duffel is it. I will tell you why I thoroughly enjoy this bag.
First of all:...
I have a brand new quilt to show you! This is called Lucky...my take on the classic stars that we all love in an Irish Chain style setting. The pattern is now available in my pattern shop and on Craftsy.
I made my sample quilt with scraps of Art Gallery Fabrics found in my stash...I was inspired by the indigo blue that seemed to be popping up in a lot of fabrics last summer. It is the perfect shade of my favorite color!
One thing that I think makes Lucky a winning pattern is the versatility it offers. The pattern sample...
